Me again lol.Jolly Tots have just phoned me back and have booked me in for september as they only have one session left now before summer holidays but definately want me in and said it could become a regular thing if all goes well!!!!!x

After a bit of nosying around and talking to a few people i have found out that the other lady doing usbourne in sevenoaks actually has a child at the same preschool as my daughter !!! Got some very serious competition now which makes me even more determined to try and secure a few local schools etc. I sent rsr packs out to 5 of the bigger local schools on Tuesday so will follow up with a phone call on Monday and keep my fingers crossed that she has'nt got there first! Have had a call back today from the local jolly tots group and they have said they will have me, just waiting for them to get back to me with a date and another local play group has me booked in for their summer party in August and i'm hoping to be able to get a regular spot up there so at least a couple she hasnt got yet!! Fingers crossed!!!xx

I have noticed that there are others in the same town as me but I didn't phone them. If you approach somewhere that already has a rep then they will just say so. I wouldn't worry about it. You don't know how much this other person works. She might just be someone who does a bit here and there or only does home parties etc. I would just carry on regardless and if she has got somewhere first then just go somewhere else.

If she is a good organiser you will find everyone you contact will say they have someone-but she might be rubbish-who knows!

Just had a look on the direct sellers listings and was going to put a post on there for myself when i came across another lady doing Usbourne in the Sevenoaks area.Should i contact her to make sure i'm not treading on her toes by going to any of the same places or just take my chances? x

Go to the 'Working for Yourself Board' and then to 'direct sellers Listings'. You can put an ad on there for free. I think any others you have to pay for. Not really sure how many people actually look at this but there are few of us listed and it is worth a go.

There is also an Usborne thread in this section too. Instead of going to 'direct sellers listings' go to 'working for yourself general discussion'. You'll find quite a few usborne reps use this site. Most are really nice but just be a bit careful what you say, you never know who is reading it!

where on the netmums website can a put a listing, or topic to let people know that if they want a party i am a rep in the area? Been searching the site endlessly and can't find a suitable place to put it. I thought it might help get some parties in.
