More Meetings?

Hi

my team have already showed an interest in a xmas get together and we would certainly be interested if we can find a central venue

2 meetings a season sounds about right to me too (we can always call extras if there is something particular to address)

I'd happily come along to more meetings, the more you can teach us the better for everyone!! Xmas get together sounds good Amanda, especially the getting drunk part, one of my special talents as you can prob see from face book pics!!

You know me, any excuse for a get together!

I think possibly trying to get everyone together once a month might be a bit ambitious so perhaps every other month ie have 2 a season. If we had them in different places all the time then I guess eventually everyone would get easier access to them. As for content I think it depends on who is gonna attend. If you have a lot of newbies then just the basics but if we are going to do one for team building we need to concentrate on recruiting etc.

Are we going to have a christmas get together? Shall I book the taxi now so we can all get drunk?

Following our Team meeting last night for newbies (which was full of lots of info!!) I wondered who would want to meet more regularly? Team meetings can be a big thing if you want them to be,I guess if they are more regular we can cover one thing in more detail but I am very conscious that we all have families and home lives and I don't want to start putting pressure on anyone to attend meetings. It would therefore be a voluntary thing but I also don't want to plan meetings if no-one is going to be there!!!
So basically I am asking this...
who thinks we should hold more regular meetings,maybe once a month in different areas,maybe just concentrating on one subject matter?
Would YOU attend?
