A success in the end
Going through my paperwork and my very big purse, I had very successfull weekend in the end. I was thinking about not going back Sunday after a very slow Saturday. But pleased I did. Not only being able to stay away from him, I had fab company(Amanda) and did really well. Will let Amanda no first before I brag to much. Love Emily.xxx

Don't give up!
As I said in another posting, don't give up on events=this weather doesn't help and sometimes people just aren't in spending mood. So forget the public and go to the businesses-devote a day or two to asking shops in your local town/trading estate to donate £5 or £50 to a worthy cause and your FS3/4 targets will whizz towards you!!
It's not always easy, but you are on the edge of our busiest season-this is only the beginning for you!
keep smiling!

Re: Weekend workers
Another bad day here! Managed a grand total of £2 on lucky dips and £13 on books all sold at half price to try and get some business.Noone was interested in filling out a prize draw slip or even taking a flyer and it certainly was'nt for lack of trying!!Bit disheartening really but trying to keep my chin up and really hoping my next few jobs are a bit better.Fs3 and 4 are seeming further and further away each day but not giving up just yet! Hope everyone else had a better day today xx

Re: Weekend workers
And disgraceful summer weather it is!!! Was up at half 6 this morn with the sun shining and all geared up and ready to go.Managed to get set up and had everything looking good just in time for the wind to pick up and rain to start!! Spent nearly 5 hours battling the wind and covering and uncovering my books from the rain before i admitted defeat and packed up.Didnt even have anyone have a try at the lucky dip so not a good day at all but all geared up and ready to start again tommorow and keeping my fingers crossed for the forecast to be right for once and have the promised sunshine and warmth!! Hope everyone else has had better luck and good luck to all for tommorow xx
