Still here!

Glad to see some replies! It may not be that you have anything usborne related but would be interesting to hear just a basic had a good day/bad day/horrid kids day etc etc. My present state is a couple of parties left to do-every other night at Threshers (and a few days too-working not buying!!!) hubby has just been asked to go for interview for a job in Madrid (fingers crossed!!!) Grace was singing at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday which was very exciting and was on BBC 1 last week.
Apart from that all quiet here!!!

I always used to put my books away at the beginning of Dec and would never get them out until March. I understand what you are saying Elaine but it is vitally important that you keep something going-even if it's just 1 party each month. March is our secong busiest month (World Book day) and you won't get bookings without working beforehand.
In January you can do a home event to launch the 2008 catalogue,get a toddler group or pre school RSR in Feb and get lots booked in for March onwards. Having done this for 6 years my advice is do not let a month go by without booiking something-it's really hard to get started again.

Hello all, i've been checking in to but just not had much to post about!!

I've only got 2 more jobs booked in at the mo and i'm gonna get them done and have a bit of a break from it all for a while. I dont want to give up completely but at the moment i'm finding it very hard to fit everything in and have had absolutely no time to do anything Usborne related!! Dont know if its the credit crunch etc but people just dont seem to be buying/ordering and its been pretty disheartening really as i put so much time/effort/money in in the first 6 mths and although i know it takes a while to build these things up i've just been out of pocket big time and really lost my enthusiasm. I think if i get these 2 jobs out of the way and get xmas etc over and done with and just clear my head of Usborne for a bit then hopefully after a couple of months i'll be ready to get going again!!

yes boss I'm working but I'm trying to shift some of this stock I've been ordering ready for the 'party season' - I can't get into the conservatory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone!
I;'ve not been on for ages because I am working practically EVERY night-haven't done bedtime for the kids for over 2 weeks now and next 2 don't look too hot either!!
I guess no-one else is on here because you are all working too??? (not showing in the figures yet!!!)
Would be good to hear from anyone-the forum's boring when no-one uses it!
